Mr. John D. Rockefeller 3rd, and Mrs. Kiyoshi Ishii of Japan, discuss an early 18th Century Japanese screen depicting “The Thousand Flowers of the Four Seasons” at the opening of the new Asia House in New York. Mr. Rockefeller is president of both the Asia Sociaty and the Japan Society and gave the building to the two groups.
