Just Child’s Play…
Small toys are better than big ones for therapeutic play. The child, having a world in miniature before it, quickly “builds up” this world from situations in the grown-up sized universe it lives in. Also the small toys give a child a sense of power and adequacy which is often lacking by very reason of the “bigness” of the grown up world.
