ASIA HOUSE
A bronze dancing figure, “Siva Nataraja” from South India, Chola Period (circa 850-1286 A.D.) catches the attention of visitors to the Asia House art exhibition. The figure is 32 7/8″ high and was lent to the exhibition by Samuel Eilenberg, mathematics professor at Columbia University in New York.
The visitors are Miss L. Bastien, head of the Indian Cultural Center in New York City, and Jules Bond, in charge of the Voice of America in New York City.
